“ We had just moved into our new house. No furniture, no trays, no food, but found this place was still delivering during the first week of Covid-19. That made moving into a new house so less stressful with being able to provide us with a fantastic veggie and meat Carvery. I wouldn’t believe the size of the portions. Extremely large and the quality and taste of the food was amazing. The meat was beautifully cooked and the vegetables were perfect. Would always recommended. The delivery service was rapid quick to note as well. The price was very reasonable for the size of the portions. ”
“ Went there with family and found it to be very nice with friendly and pleasant staff only one criticism that unlike other food places they used one set of knives for carving all the different meats. But saying that when asked to use a different set of knives they did use a fresh set of knives. Which was very good of them I hope they will continue to use different coloured knives for each of the meats as not all people eat pork. Or want the cross contamination of foods. But because they reacted politely and dealt with our request they deserve a 10/10. Would and will be retuning to this venue again all staff were polite and friendly.and well turned out especially on the way your welcomed on entry. Wonderful food Great service Great Staff.. “ Went on a Sunday and they have one of the best calverys in the area! All the meat is always cooked to perfection and have lots of side dishes. The staff are friendly, the pub it's self is in emmaculate condition and the prices are fair. You would struggle to find anything this good for the price. Would 100% recommend! ”

“ We arrived at the New Wellington yesterday evening for a stay in their B&B, which had unfortunately been closed for three weeks due to water damage. We were given drinks and the staff were absolutely exceptional, calling round other hotels and B&Bs to find us a new place to stay. They must have tried 25-30 places but eventually found us a couple of rooms in another hotel. They even offered us back for their breakfast buffet in the morning. A tremendous place with the most helpful and compassionate staff. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a delightful pint and some food! ”
